What Is The Name Of The Condition Of Fluid Behind The Eye That Requires Same Treatment As Macular Degeneration?

I was diagnosed with macular degeneration in Oct. I have had 3 shots (3 different doctors...2 in the same practice). I seem to get different answers with each doctor. Last doctor said I do not have macular degeneration but I have fluid behind my eyes (same treatment of shots). Is anyone aware of a name for this condition?
