My Optometrist Of Many Years Failed To Tell Me I Had AMD.

A myAMDteam Subscriber asked a question 💭

I saw my eye doctor end of August and he said I did not have AMD. He told me I have a cataract that has to be removed. He said he will have an ophthalmologist and he will schedule an appointment for me. I was concerned so I made an appointments with ophthalmologist and he told me I had glaucoma, cataracts in both eyes and dry AMD and he wants me to see a retina specialist. I am horrified to say the least.
