My First Injection Didn’t Hurt. (It’s Not The Pressure) MD Told Techs To Use More Numbing Drops. No Change. Why?
Hi Elaine, I'm sure your other injections will be pain free too. I've had injections for over 26 years and never had a problem with injections....just once the clamp scratched my eye and I had to go to emergency. Now I'm down injections in only one eye. How nice if the left eye would follow suit.
Hi Shirley, I’m impressed… 26 yrs of injections! I’m having an injection this Friday and hope it will be without pain as yours have been. Yet, most important, I hope my vision improves as it has lessened somewhat since last injection. Best of luck to you. Elaine
no speculum used and it’s not iodine (know that feeling). And first injection was wonderful. Want other injections to be like 1st.
It’s possible that the discomfort you’re feeling isn’t related to the injection itself but rather to other factors, such as the cleaning solution (like iodine) or the speculum used to keep your eye open. Some people also experience mild irritation as the medication mixes with the fluid in the eye. Discuss your concerns with Show Full Answer
